Neolt was founded by Ettore Pontiggia in Bergamo in 1941 for the production of sliding calculation rulers.
Later the business moved to drawing boards and drafting machines for which the company became a world leader.
During the 50s the growing demand for drawing boards led the owner to start manufacturing a new production site. A lot of money was also allocated for research and development.
During the 1960s the product range was expanded by introducing stencil printers for architects, heliographic machines and office furniture.
The quality and beauty of NEOLT products, which represented the great change taking place in the world in those years, allowed the company to establish itself abroad, exporting to more than 70 countries.
In the 70s NEOLT developed the first rotary blade cutter and expanded the product range with: Laminators, new office furniture and modern versions of drawing boards
In the 80s new colors were introduced to the product line and the production of electric cutters also began.
The need of more production space forced the company to build another plant of more than 50 thousand square meters.
In the 90s NEOLT presented its first folding machine for technical drawings, updated the finishing line again by introducing vertical panel cutters.
In the first decade of the twenty-first century, following the changes in the market, NEOLT opened a new production line dedicated to industrial printing systems, presenting the NEOLTJET printer followed by the Asterjet.
Also the Neoweld welding machine and the first XY Matic were launched.
In the early part of this decade, NEOLT introduced the Shield pneumatic laminator and renewed the range of vertical cutters by presenting the Sword.
In 2015 NEOLT separated from its printing section and became Neolt factory srl, moving the production site and building new offices.
The decade ended with the presentation of the XY Matic Trim Plus.
Neolt Factory celebrates 80 years of activity. Looks to the future and continues investing in research and development in the finishing sector.
By renewing the machinery in mechanical production with the purchase of a new laser cutter improves and increases production capacity and quality.
